You may have access to coverage for our services through your extended health care benefits package. The type and amount of coverage varies from plan to plan. Please contact your benefits provider to determine what you coverage is. If you require some aid in navigating your coverage, please speak to our front desk. We will do our best to assist you.
Direct Billing
Did you know that St. George Physiotherapy Clinic offers direct billing services for the treatment you receive at the clinic? The ability to bill directly depends on your plan and provider. Free yourself of all the work and hassle of tracking your invoices, receipts, reimbursement! Please speak to the front desk for further details. Student Coverage
- If you are a Full-Time undergraduate student at the University of Toronto's downtown campus, and have not opted out of the Health and Dental Plan, your coverage is through Desjardins. We cannot bill directly on your behalf but an easy to use app is available for you to get reimbursed quickly, safely, and easily. For more details, please visit https://www.utsu.ca/health/
- If you are a Graduate Student at the University of Toronto's downtown campus and have not opted out of your Health and Dental Plan,, you are covered under Greenshield and we may be able to bill directly on your behalf. For more details, please visit https://www.utsu.ca/health/

Motor Vehicle Accidents
Hassle Free direct billing and co-ordination of benefits is standard at St George Physiotherapy. You are free to attend your clinic of choice, as we are able to provide the same treatment and administrative services as clinics recommended by your insurer. You are not required to go to the clinic that your insurer recommends, and choosing St George Physiotherapy over a clinic recommended by your insurer does NOT change your claim in any way.
Workplace Safety and Insurance Board (WSIB)
Direct Billing is standard for WSIB services at St. George Physiotherapy Clinic. Approved WSIB claims are fully covered and we handle billing and coordination. If you've been injured on the job, contact us and we’ll guide you through the next steps.
Virtual Care
Coverage for Virtual Physiotherapy Services are currently being supported by the following insurers:
- Canada Life/Great West Life
- Sun Life Canada
- Green Shield Canada
- Manulife
- Medavie Blue Cross
-SSQ (for some regions and plans but not all)
-Equitable Life of Canada (covered for those who have virtual care included in their plans)
